As Quarantine life continues to feel more like the new normal, the news of growing vaccine distribution provides a light at the end of a very long, dark, and concertless tunnel. Upon President Biden’s inauguration, he announced an initiative for 100 million vaccines in his first 100 days in office. On February 15th, President Biden expressed his optimism over twitter, announcing that the progress shows they should exceed the stated goal. On top of that hopeful news, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that certain stadiums and arenas throughout the state can start welcoming fans for in-person attendance. Up until now, New York was one of the few states not allowing anybody in attendance for any games or events. 

These are little victories, but right, that’s what we need as we tackle this new normal. Does this mean we can bank on concert and arena shows carrying the load starting in the summer?
